1.      Maintain current funding levels of TEXAS Grants.

2.      Oppose legislation allowing individuals to carry concealed handguns on college campuses.

3.      Oppose the Coordinating Board appropriation formula recommendation of eliminating the tenure track faculty in undergraduate courses supplement.

4.      Increase Texas faculty salaries to achieve parity with the other 10 most populous states.
