Beginning September 1, Texas higher education institutions face some new laws that take effect, namely DEI and tenure related. On August 2, Beaman Floyd, Legislative Director for the Texas Association of College Teachers, discussed these new laws and what you need to know. Moderator Dr. Mylien Duong, Senior Research Director at the Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI) provided practical ways to address these issues with campus leadership.
