The Texas Association of College Teachers, in support of college and university staff members who are vital to students’ academic success, urges administrations across the state to provide hiring incentives or to increase salary and wage levels for staff positions to aid in filling these positions during these unusual economic times. Doing so will improve students' educational experiences and aid student retention in the near term and will benefit our collective communities in the future.
